The deadline to enroll in PayFlex, the health flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care, has been extended to 5 p.m. on Dec. 11.
Because of payroll deadlines in Human Resources, no exceptions will be made after this deadline. Employees who establish a health savings account for 2010 cannot open a health flexible spending account.
No action is required for employees who already are enrolled using the PayFlex site (https://www.payflex.com/mypayflex/default.htm) and are satisfied with their elections for 2010.
Employees who have already enrolled using the PayFlex site and wish to change their elections for 2010, may re-enter the PayFlex site and change their elections prior to the new deadline.
Employees who have not enrolled for 2010 using the PayFlex site and wish to do so, should first read the PayFlex enrollment guide (www.hr.uga.edu/benefits/
payflex_oe_guide.pdf) and then visit the PayFlex site to enroll.
Employees who have already enrolled using the PayFlex site and wish to cancel their elections for 2010 must contact Human Resources, (706) 542-2222 or benefits@uga.edu, before 5 p.m. on Dec. 11.
