The Academic Advising Coordinating Council will hold a spring adviser workshop April 16 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Coverdell Building.
The workshop will discuss the new first-year seminar course that will be required of all entering freshmen beginning fall 2011.
Several members of the planning committee will discuss the course and seek input from advisers. Additional information on the course is online at www.qep.uga.edu/.
A box lunch will be available at noon for attendees, and the session will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Registration, limited to the first 75 people, will be available on the Training and Development Web site, www.hr.uga.edu/careerdev/career.html, beginning April 2.
