Jack Bauerle, swimming and diving head coach, was inducted into the La Salle College High School Alumni Hall of Fame.
Bauerle is a 1970 graduate of La Salle High School, located in Wyndmoor, Pa. He was co-captain of the 1970 La Salle team and he was a member of four squads that won the Philadelphia Catholic League Championships. Bauerle has piloted the UGA women’s swim team to four national championships and seven Southeastern Conference titles. In 2008, Bauerle served as the head coach of the U.S. women’s team at the Beijing Olympics. He led Team USA to 14 medals, the most of any nation.
