The Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach is seeking nominations for the 2011 Scholarship of Engagement Award. The deadline for nomination submissions is Oct. 1.
The annual award recognizes a tenured associate or full professor who advances civic engagement through the scholarship of engagement and by providing service-learning opportunities for students.
The award provides the recipient with a $5,000 faculty development grant to support outreach and engagement projects.
