The UGA Teaching Academy will hold a seminar March 25 at 4 p.m. in the Reading Room of the Miller Learning Center.
Jean Twenge, a scholar, author and consultant, will speak on “Understanding Today’s Students.”
Twenge is the author of Generation Me: Why Today’s Young Americans Are More Confident, Assertive, Entitled-and More Miserable Than Ever Before. Earlier in the day, Twenge will present the keynote address at the university’s annual Academic Affairs Faculty Symposium. Keith Campbell, department chair in psychology at UGA and co-author with Twenge on The Narcissism Epidemic: Living in the Age of Entitlement, will moderate the seminar.
