Jennifer Plasman Holloway, a 2000 UGA alumna, will make her Atlanta Opera debut April 9 in Mozart’s Così fan tutte in the mezzo soprano role of Dorabella.
Holloway, who earned a bachelor’s degree in music education, sang with the Concert Choir and Women’s Glee Club, played euphonium in the Wind Ensemble and was a member of the Redcoat Marching Band. After graduation, Holloway attended graduate school at the Manhattan School of Music, and made her Metropolitan Opera debut in December 2010 in Verdi’s La Traviata.
