Graduate Students and Postdocs in Science will hold the third annual Scientific Research Day on May 20 at the Paul D. Coverdell Center and VetMed Building 1.
The event will feature presentations by graduate students, postdocs and other members of the UGA research community. Robert S. Langer, the David H. Koch Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will deliver the keynote address.
This year’s event also includes a catered lunch and awards. The deadline to submit oral and poster abstracts is April 27. Talks or posters can be those already presented at scientific meetings within the last year or those in preparation for future meetings. Prizes will be awarded to the best oral and poster presentations at a reception in the Coverdell lobby following the keynote address. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
