The Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach invites nominations for the 2012 Scholarship of Engagement Award. The deadline for nomination submissions is Nov. 1.
The annual award recognizes a permanent, full-time associate or full professor for sustained contributions to advancing public service, outreach and community engagement over her/his career at UGA. The awardee receives a $5,000 faculty development grant from the Office of the Vice President to sustain current scholarship of engagement endeavors or to develop new ones.
