Thomas R. Dunn, a lecturer in speech communication, has been selected by the National Communication Association as the 2011 recipient of the Stephen E. Lucas Debut Publication Award. Dunn will be presented with his award during NCA’s annual convention, held Nov. 17-20, in New Orleans.
NCA is the largest communication association in the U.S. and presents a limited number of awards each year. Dunn was recognized for Remembering Matthew Shepard: Violence, Identity and Queer Counterpublic Memories.
