Express Scripts, the pharmacy benefit manager for the HSA Open Access POS and the BlueChoice HMO health plans, has reached an agreement with Walgreens Pharmacy. On Sept. 15,
Walgreens will become an in-network pharmacy provider for these two University System of Georgia health plans. The Open Access POS plan uses Medco for pharmacy benefits, and Walgreens is already an in-network pharmacy under this plan.
