The UGA Office of Sustainability is offering sustainability grants to provide funding for competitive, student–proposed projects and initiatives designed to advance campus sustainability through education, research, service and operations.
Successful projects will address priorities outlined in UGA’s 2020 Strategic Plan to actively conserve resources, educate the campus community, influence positive action for people and the environment and provide useful data to inform future sustainability efforts.
Proposals are accepted from current UGA students (with a faculty/staff sponsor) and will be selected based on merit, positive impact, implementation feasibility and available funding.
The pre-proposal deadline is Oct. 5. Proposals are due Oct. 21. -Projects should be completed and all funds expended by June 30, 2013.
