The first concert on June 4 will feature Shonna Tucker and Eye Candy with Thayer Sarrano opening. On July 9, Grammy-nominee Caroline Aiken will play folk rock. Grogus will perform Aug. 20, and Arvin Scott will play jazz Sept. 17. All performances will begin at 7 p.m. in the terraced flower garden.
Tickets are $15, $10 for members of Friends of the Garden, $5 for children ages 6-12. Each concert includes beverages and light snacks.
Bring a blanket and picnic-or purchase dinner from Donderos’ Kitchen in the Visitor Center-kick off your shoes and enjoy an evening in the garden with friends or family. Concerts will be held inside the Visitor Center and Conservatory if weather necessitates. Lawn chairs are only allowed for those with physical limitations.
