The Georgia Colloquium in 18th- and 19th-Century British Literature will present a talk by Adela Pinch Feb. 26 at 4:30 p.m. in 265 Park Hall. A professor of English and women’s studies at the University of Michigan, Pinch will discuss “Wordsworth in Bed.” Open free to the public, the talk will be followed by a reception in the Park Hall library.
Pinch specializes in 18th- and 19th-century British literature. Her books include Strange Fits of Passion: Epistemologies of Emotion, Hume to Austen and Thinking about Other People in Nineteenth-century British Writing.
The event is co-sponsored by the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, the English department and its Rodney Baine Lecture Fund.
