Noted family science scholars and interventionists from around the country will participate in a UGA-sponsored State-of-the-Art Conference to discuss family and community health June 2-3 at the Georgia Center.
The conference, “Family and Community as Pathways for Health: Obesity Prevention and Intervention Strategies,” is co-chaired by Jerry Gale, professor in the human development and family science department within the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, and Jay Mancini, professor and HDFS department head.
