The Georgia Museum of Art at UGA will host its first Toddler Tuesday Nov. 8 from 10-11 a.m. A new addition to the museum’s family programs, Toddler Tuesday is open free to the public but requires reservations because of limited space.
The 40-minute program is for families with children 18 months to 3 years. Parents will be able to enjoy time with their children without having to worry about the constraints of bringing their younger family members to public spaces. The event is designed for a smaller and more intimate experience in the galleries to help introduce young ones to the museum and works of art. The program will focus on color as a theme and will consist of storytelling followed by a tour tailored to a younger audience and a hands-on activity.
