The UGA College of Veterinary Medicine’s student chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association is hosting its annual benefit auction Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. To be held in the Veterinary Education Center on the Veterinary Medical Center campus, the event will include dinner, a live and silent auction, entertainment and other activities. Tours of the new Veterinary Teaching Hospital, which opened in 2015, will be available to CVM alumni beginning at 4 p.m.
Items collected for the 2017 auction include a variety of gift baskets and gift cards, dinners hosted by CVM professors, handmade quilts, signed memorabilia from the UGA Athletic Association, beach getaways and show tickets.
Admission includes dinner, beverages and live entertainment. Tickets are $35 each and may be purchsed in advance at www.vet.uga.edu/student_clubs/scavma.auction. Free parking, outside the Veterinary Education Center, will be available to attendees.
