Kelly Ann King recognized as UGA First Honor Graduate

Kelly Ann King of Covington recognized as a University of Georgia First Honor Graduate during the Dec. 14.

 

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia recognized Kelly Ann King of Covington as a First Honor Graduate during the Dec. 14 undergraduate Commencement ceremonies in Stegeman Coliseum.

King maintained a 4.0 cumulative grade point average in all her work attempted at UGA. She received a bachelor’s degree in biological science from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, graduated summa cum laude and ranked in the top 1 percent of her 1,800-member class.

A First Honor Graduate is a student who has maintained a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average throughout his or her undergraduate studies as well as in all college-level transfer work attempted prior to or following enrollment at the university.

King’s parents are Hal and Ann King.
