ACT and College Board sued over info

ACT and the College Board are facing a multimillion dollar lawsuit for how they sell personal information about test takers.

According to a story by Inside Higher Ed, an Illinois woman is seeking more than $5 million in damages since the ACT and College Board did not disclose to test takers what will happen to their personal information. That information, the story reports, is sold to colleges wanting to recruit students for about 37 cents per name.
