Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Alumni Association and the UGA Athletic Association have teamed up to bring UGA Day to Birmingham, Ala., on May 22 at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel Birmingham Ballroom.
UGA Day will get underway at 6 p.m., when guests may take photographs and obtain autographs of university officials on hand. The program will follow at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
Host Chuck Dowdle, Head Football Coach Mark Richt and Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox will be on hand to share their insights into UGA’s upcoming athletic seasons, and UGA Vice President for Research David Lee, will bring the latest news from the university. Attendees will learn about the UGA Alumni Association in Birmingham and how to become involved.
