Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Alumni Association and the UGA Athletic Association have teamed up to bring UGA Day to Charlotte, N.C. on May 9 at the Charlotte Marriott City Center.
UGA Day will get underway at 6 p.m., when guests may take photographs and obtain autographs of the university officials on hand. The program will follow at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
Host Chuck Dowdle, Head Football Coach Mark Richt and Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox will be on hand to share their insights into UGA’s upcoming athletic seasons, and Vice President for Instruction Laura Jolly will share the latest news from the university. Attendees will learn about the Charlotte Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association and how to become involved.
