Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Alumni Association and the UGA Athletic Association have teamed up to bring UGA Day to Macon on May 8 at the Walnut Creek Shooting Preserve.
UGA Day will get underway at 6 p.m., when guests may take photographs and obtain autographs of university officials on hand. The program will follow at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
Host Chuck Dowdle, Head Football Coach Mark Richt and Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox will be on hand to share their insights into UGA’s upcoming athletic seasons, and Associate Provost and Director of the UGA Honors Program David Williams will share the latest news from the university. In addition, attendees will learn about the Macon Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association and how to become involved.
