Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Alumni Association and the UGA Athletic Association have teamed up to bring UGA Day to Valdosta on May 16 at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center.
UGA Day will get underway at 6 p.m., when guests may take photographs and obtain autographs of university officials on hand. The program will follow at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
Host Chuck Dowdle, Head Football Coach Mark Richt and Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox will be on hand to share their insights into UGA’s upcoming athletic seasons, and Senior Executive Director of Leadership Giving Greg Daniels will bring the latest news from the university. Attendees will learn about the UGA Alumni Association in Valdosta and how to become involved.
