Andrew Lentini elected to national steering committee of College and University Recycling Coalition

Andrew Lentini, a program coordinator in the Office of Sustainability, recently was elected to the national steering committee of the College and University Recycling Coalition, a membership-based nonprofit organization facilitating the exchange of technical knowledge and best practices on recycling and waste reduction programs among institutions of higher education.

Lentini also was re-elected to serve a two-year term on the board of directors for the Georgia Recycling Coalition. The organization’s mission is to complement and coordinate activities relative to recycling, to foster communications among professionals, organizations, government agencies and individuals and to promote and enhance reduction and recycling programs throughout the state.
