Andy Brantley, associate vice president for human resources, received the 2004 Donald E. Dickason Award from the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources. Established in 1970 and named for the association’s founder, this award is CUPA-HR’s highest honor and recognizes an individual for distinguished and continuing service to CUPA-HR.
Brantley has worked in higher education human resources for 16 years and has been a member of CUPA-HR for 14 years, wherein he has amassed a long list of leadership activities at the regional and national levels.
Founded more than 50 years ago and based in Knoxville, CUPA-HR is a nonprofit, member-supported organization that serves more than 6,300 human resource administrators at nearly 1,600 colleges and universities as well as others interested in the advancement of human resources in higher education. CUPA-HR’s National Recognition Awards Program promotes and rewards outstanding performance in the field of human resource administration.
