The Performing Arts Center presents the Atlanta Ballet (pictured at left) on Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre on Baldwin Street. Tickets are $34 and $29, and half price for students.
The Atlanta Ballet’s program is scheduled to include “Serenade,” choreographed by George Balanchine to music by Tchaikovsky; “Hyperspace,” choreographed by Ivan Pulinkala to music by James Horner; and “Ramblin’ Suite,” choreographed by Diane Coburn Bruning to music by the Red Clay Ramblers.
A pre-concert lecture will be given by John McFall, artistic director of the Atlanta Ballet. The lecture, which begins at 7:15 p.m., is open to the public.
