UGA Chief of Information Barbara White was selected as a finalist in the Women of the Year in Technology Award in the not-for-profit / public sector category, one of three awards sponsored by the Women in Technology organization.
The Women of the Year in Technology Awards recognize the achievements of Georgia women in technology leadership roles. The award was established in 1999 to show appreciation for Georgia women in the technology community who contributed their talents within their organization and within their community.
