Beginning in the fall, students at the University of California, Berkeley, should have an easier time enrolling in foreign language courses, as the university announced plans to add more than 30 foreign language courses.
More than $500,000 has been put toward the effort, university officials announced, as part of a campus effort to ensure that students have access to key undergraduate courses even during harsh budgetary times. New courses will include sections in Arabic, French, Chinese and Spanish.
