Beth Melnik, assistant state director for organizational effectiveness and marketing at UGA’s Small Business Development Center, has been appointed vice-chair of the national Small Business Development Center Accreditation Committee, which oversees accreditation of 63 small business development committees.
Each committee member is expected to participate in annual training improving skills in the understanding of accreditation standards, review of self-studies, field visits, report writing, editing, deliberations, and identifying and teaching best practices.
