University Professor Lynne Billard was recently elected to become an Honorary Life Member of the International Biometric Society.
She received this award at the biennial 2022 International Biometric Conference held in Riga, Latvia, in July 2022.
The IBS is the second largest statistical organization in the world, behind the American Statistical Association, and only awards this to honor to at most four people worldwide every other year. Billard and two others were so elected in 2022.
