Bryan Haymans, a chef in Bolton Dining Commons, placed fourth and earned a bronze medal in the recent 2012 National Association of College and University Food Services Southern Region Culinary Challenge at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
Haymans was one of six chefs selected out of 80 candidates to compete at the regional level. The NACUFS Culinary Challenge recognizes outstanding food preparation and presentation skills in collegiate food service programs.
