Proposals are being accepted until March 15 for the 2012 National Outreach Scholarship Conference.
The conference is sponsored by a nonprofit educational organization comprising 15 member institutions called the Engagement Scholarship Consortium, which works collaboratively to build strong university-community partnerships anchored in the rigor of scholarship and designed to help build community capacity.
The theme of this year’s conference, which will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at the University of Alabama, is “Partner. Inspire. Change.”
Proposals are invited for presentations in three tracks: “Voice of the Community-Partner Scholar;” “Voice of the Student/Young Scholar;” and “Voice of the Senior Engaged Scholar.”
