The UGA Career Center is hosting fall career and internship fairs at The Classic Center in downtown Athens.
The Fall Career and Internship Fair is Sept. 20 from noon-5 p.m., and the Fall Engineering and Computer Science Career and Internship Fair is Sept. 21 from 4-7:30 p.m. And these are just two of the many career fairs hosted at UGA this fall.
Faculty and staff are asked to make students aware of these dates and encourage them to attend. Students of all levels benefit from the experience of meeting potential employers, even if they are not currently seeking positions. Learning how to introduce oneself, developing and practicing an elevator pitch, and gaining exposure to the variety of opportunities within their field of study are all valuable experiences for students, no matter where they may be on their journeys.
