Casimir Akoh received the Stephen S. Chang Award

Casimir Akoh, associate professor of food science and technology, received the Stephen S. Chang Award from the American Oil Chemists’ Society.

The second most prestigious award given by AOCS, the award recognizes a scientist who has made decisive accomplishments in basic research for the improvement or development of products related to lipids through a single breakthrough or through an accumulation of publications. Akoh is also serving as two-year term as AOCS secretary.
