Chegg, a textbook rental service, has announced its plans to shift operations from physical to digital books.
The textbook company’s services included shipping books to students, but that part of the operation will be given to book distributor Ingram Content Group.
Chegg customers will now only be able to rent their digital books. Digital services also will include test preparation materials and career counseling.
