As part of Heart Health Month, the University Health Center will offer faculty and staff a fasting lipid profile Feb. 16-20 and 23-27 from 8-10 a.m. Tests cost $10, and an appointment is required. To make an appointment, contact the health promotion department at (706) 542-8690. There is a limit of 75 people.
Test results include total cholesterol, HDL/LDL breakdown and triglycerides. Test subjects must fast (nothing to eat or drink except water for 10-12 hours prior to having blood drawn).
