Chris Sieving, an assistant professor of theatre and film studies in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, received the Richard Wall Memorial Award for his book Soul Searching: Black-Themed Cinema from the March on Washington to the Rise of Blaxploitation. Presented by the Theatre Library Association, the award recognizes an outstanding book in film or broadcasting.
