Julie A Luft, the Athletic Association Professor of Mathematics and Science Education in the College of Education, was honored during the National Science Teachers Association’s annual conference in Los Angeles. She was one of three to be named an NSTA Fellow in recognition of her 30 years advancing science education.
The NSTA Fellow award honors extraordinary contributions to science education through a personal commitment to education, specifically science; work that positions recipients as leaders in their field; and significant contributions to the profession that reflect dedication to NSTA and the larger educational community.
