UGA will host the 2005 annual conference of the University System of Georgia Staff Council Oct. 13-14 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education. Staff members from colleges and universities across the state will meet for networking and professional development.
UGA departments are being asked to fund registration fees ($35 each, includes breakfast and lunch) for staff here who want to attend the conference. Departments can also donate items (with or without logos) for door prizes and registration packets.
A limited number of registration scholarships are available though the UGA Staff Council. The deadline to apply is Sept. 7. The scholarship application and conference schedule are available online (www.uga.edu/~uigasc/suggest.html).
