Dr. Christopher Corbett, director of Counseling and Psychiatric Services through the University Health Center, has been awarded the Professional Leadership Award by the American College Counseling Association.
The Professional Leadership Award goes to the person who demonstrated leadership in the form of continued dedication and exemplary service to the field of college counseling and ACCA as a professional organization.
Corbett was president of the association in 2016-17, has been active in its leadership and is an ACCA representative to the Higher Education Mental Health Alliance, currently holding the position of Chair of HEMHA.
