The Institute for Disaster Management in the College of Public Health recently launched its new website to showcase the DMAN course options, research and outreach, as well as the services it offers. The website was completely changed to improve the user experience, through a full menu of options and easy to follow subfolders.
IDM offers one of the nation’s few Master of Public Health programs with a concentration in disaster management. The website highlights the MPH, along with their graduate certificate and undergraduate minor. More information about what students need to graduate, plans of study and how to apply can be found on the academics pages.
IDM teams work on multiple projects throughout the year with different groups and organizations in the public health and emergency management fields. The projects have ranged from helping long-term care facilities, health care preparedness and even Ebola training. The changes will allow easy access to resources and information that otherwise would be unavailable.
The new website will help IDM further connect with current and prospective students, professionals in the field and anyone looking for more information about disaster management.
