David P. Landau, Distinguished Research Professor of Physics and director of the Center for Simulational Physics, visited China late last year where he spoke at the second international workshop on computational physics at Zhejian University, one of China’s top five universities.
Landau holds the position there of Senior Guangbiao Distinguished Professor. He was co-chair and invited speaker at the workshop, patterned on a similar one held at UGA. While in China he also presented the opening plenary talk at the Croucher Foundation Advanced Study Institute at Chinese University in Hong Kong.
