Dean Krugman, professor of advertising, has been named president-elect of the American Academy of Advertising.
The position of president is a three-year commitment, first as president-elect, then president and finally as immediate past president. As president-elect, Krugman will be responsible for acting for the president in his or her absence or disability and will perform any duties assigned by the president. He also will serve as coordinator of special topics for the annual conference. Krugman began his duties as president-elect at the 2007 AAA annual conference April 12-15 in Burlington, Vt.
The AAA is an organization of advertising scholars and professionals with an interest in advertising and advertising education.
