Des Potier, associate director of admissions for diversity recruitment and access in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, has been invited to join the advisory council for the new high school that KIPP Atlanta will open in 2011. He will join other members of the community to plan for this addition to the KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) model. KIPP is a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools with a track record of preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. KIPP currently operates four middle schools in the Atlanta area.
