Diabetes prevention program

UGA Well-being, in partnership with UGA Extension, will be offering a free diabetes prevention program, Prevent T2, on campus beginning March 17.

To learn more about diabetes prevention, attend an awareness program on March 5 at noon at the Training & Development Center. Register for the session through the Professional Education Portal, pep.uga.edu.

PreventT2 is a CDC-approved program that has proven to prevent or delay Type 2 diabetes.

Participants in this program will work with a trained lifestyle coach to learn the skills they need to lose weight and make lasting changes.

To learn more, contact UGA Well-being at wellbeing@uga.edu or 706-542-7319 or Jackie Dallas, Clarke County Extension FACS Agent, at jdallas@uga.edu or 706-613-3640
