Four finalists have been named for the position of associate vice president of UGA’s Environmental Safety Division. They will be on campus starting March 9 for interviews and meetings with faculty and staff.
Each candidate will lead a presentation open to the public from 11–11:45 a.m. in Room AB of Human Resources’ Training and Development Center. Finalists and the dates they will be on campus are:
- March 9: Robin Elliott, director of occupational health and safety at the University of Delaware;
- March 10: John McCollum, environmental program manager for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Environmental Protection Division;
- March 11: Mark Smith, director of Environmental Health and Safety at the University of Tennessee; and
- March 12: Donald Robinson, director of environmental health and safety and special assistant to the vice chancellor of administration and finance for emergency management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Ralph Johnson, associate vice president for the Physical Plant, chaired the search committee that recommended the finalists.
