Donald C. Johnson, the director of Dean Rusk Center, received the 2009 International Jurists Award from Pratibha Devisingh Patil, the president of India, in New Delhi during the International Conference of Jurists organized by the International Council of Jurists, the All India Bar Association, the All India Senior Advocates Association and the Indian Council of Jurists. Johnson was chosen for the award based on his contributions to legal education, international outreach programs and international judicial training.
