Alberta Ellett, an associate professor in the School of Social Work, was elected to serve a three-year term on the board of directors of the Society for Social Work and Research and as the secretary of the board.
The SSWR is a professional society and nonprofit organization dedicated to the involvement of social workers and social work faculty and students in research and to the promotion of human welfare through research and research applications.
