The School of Environmental Design will present Eyesight Photography, an exhibition by Chris Balthrop, a systems administrator in the school.
The photography exhibit will run until June 30 in the Circle Gallery, G14 Caldwell Hall.
In his artist profile, Balthrop said that being visually impaired gives him “further motivation and inspiration” for his photography.
Specializing in nature and scenic photography, he strives to capture the beauty of the location he’s at and “bring that beauty to others, especially to those who may not have the opportunity to see such sights due to disabilities or other reasons.”
This exhibition is free and open to the public. The Circle Gallery is open weekdays from noon until 5 p.m. or by appointment, available by calling (706) 542-2892.
