UGA’s fall student enrollment is 34,519, the fifth consecutive year enrollment has stood between 34,000 and 35,000. The figure is a 0.9 percent decrease, or 297 students fewer than last fall semester. Of the total enrollment, 8,071 are new to UGA—including incoming freshmen, transfers or graduate students.
A total of 26,215 of the students are undergraduates studying on UGA campuses in Athens, Buckhead, Griffin, Gwinnett and Tifton. The extended campuses experienced a 3.1 percent overall enrollment increase.
The enrollment figure includes 6,606 graduate students and 1,654 students enrolled in the professional schools of law, pharmacy and veterinary medicine.
