Finalists for dean of Graduate School to give presentations

Four finalists for the position of dean of the UGA Graduate School will visit campus to meet with members of the university community.

A committee chaired by Craig H. Kennedy, dean of the College of Education, conducted a national search to identify the finalists. The committee was assisted by the UGA Search Group in Human Resources.

Each finalist will make a public presentation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Tate Student Center Reception Hall (Room 135).

The finalists and the dates of their presentations are:

• Suzanne Barbour, program director in the Division of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences of the National Science Foundation, March 23.

• Juli Wade, professor and chair of the psychology department at Michigan State University, March 25.

• William Graves, professor of horticulture and associate dean of the Graduate College at Iowa State University, March 30.

• Carolyn Drews-Botsch, professor and vice chair of academic affairs in the epidemiology department at Emory University, April 7.
